[Image taken 8.10.19] In 2019 following discussions with the Manager, the cycle parking at Asda, Harrogate was improved. The existing free-standing racks were relocated. The original location (see: goo.gl/maps/4MNybwfkafDREEycA) was across a road from the entrance/exit/trolleys. There was a kerb, and nowhere to put a trolley while you loaded/unloaded other than in the carriageway. The new location is undercover, and close to the trolleys and the entrance. There's no kerb to lift your cycle up and down, and no road to negotiate. (The dark circles on the ground in the photo were the original fixing points. The racks were re-spaced as they were too close together.) A new 'toast rack' of Sheffields increased the provision. See also: #166186. For comparison with the well positioned but impractically-spaced racks at Asda, Layerthorpe, York see: #166148.
