[Image taken 18.2.23] Vyner Street junction with Newby Terrace, looking towards Wigginton Road, York. Important non-motorised (NMU) route getting people to/from Wigginton Road and the motor traffic-free/segregated routes of Foss Islands Path, Crichton Avenue, New Earswick/Haxby... Filtered permeability to enable people on cycles, pedestrians and, as I saw when I was taking this image, people in mobility scooters, to use the link in both directions with no restrictions. On the other hand, driver using the parking spaces can only enter from and return to Wigginton Road. The tarmac damage makes for an unpleasantly bumpy ride even if you don't suffer pain when crossing an uneven surface. I'll report it. Location of the tarmac damage: #191152.
