The route is brilliant, however a new link road between Chellaston and Sinfin (T12 Link Road) will cut through this cycle path and the sinfin moor lane cycle path, replacing both with toucan crossings. A silver lining is that the new road will have cycle paths alongside it - hopefully they will be designed to a high standard.
